Lately, customers have been telling me a lot about their own beach pottery collections. Similar to beach glass, only instead of glass it's pottery, ceramic or porcelain. Here is one of my favourites in my own collection. Mostly because of the detail in the design and the size of it (larger than a toonie, shown here with a penny). My estimate is mid-50's.
You must find that its a real joy to have such a sense of history to add to your work everyday. Its even more interesting to hear that you try to date the pieces!
